Earth Treasure Vases

The Gaia Mandala Global Healing Community is a growing circle of people who are working "to restore balance and harmony to the web of life." Their Earth Treasure Vase Global Healing Project involves planting Earth Treasure Vases filled with offerings of protection and healing around the world. "Planting" little clay pots comes from an 8th century Tibetan tradition to bring healing to the Earth. They are filled with prayers and symbolic offerings that are intended to bring balance and protection to an area around where they are "planted" or buried.

Read the DailyGood article for more about the real impact of these buried treasures.

World Tiger Day

World Tiger Day on July 29 was pretty special. Recent sightings of numerous new tigers in a region of western Thailand for the first time in four years suggests a long-awaited comeback. All species of tiger are listed as endangered. "After a century of decline, overall wild tiger numbers are starting to tick upward. Based on the best available information, tiger populations are stable or increasing in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Russia and China. An estimated 3,900 tigers remain in the wild, but much more work is needed to protect this species if we are to secure its future in the wild." - World Wildlife Fund. Bee Happy

Special thanks to the anonymous kindness rock maker that left the above Bee Happy rock where I could see it and snap a picture. By the way, it was gone the next day likely
