Sourcing to scouring to yarn and all the steps in between making Ewethful yarns one of the few yarns completely grown and milled in the PNW.

She will also be bringing her yarn and fibers for sale!

We're 2! There Will Be Cake!

To celebrate our 2nd birthday, we're sharing a birthday cake with you all at the meeting. (We will also have a veggie tray to balance things out.) Feel free to bring your generous snack offerings for the December meeting.

Board Election Time

As a registered nonprofit in Oregon, guild members (that's you!) elect the board of directors. There are 2 positions up for election at this time:

Communications Chair, for which there are two nominations from the floor
Outreach Chair, for which Kimberly Williams is running

The election will be held according to our bylaws at this November 14th's meeting. Members must be present to vote.

If you'd like to lead in the Guild in some way, but can't commit to being on the Board (that includes attending the monthly board meeting and any responsibilities a Board role), please contact us. We have opportunities for special event planning and other short-term commitment opportunities.

Update on Rose Haven Blankets

We planned to have Rose Haven join us for presenting your handmade blankets. However, they are hosting a fundraiser the same evening as our monthly meeting (More about Rose Haven's event here).

We are hoping they can join is in December so that you may see your hard work given to the organization.

In addition, if you would like to donate menstrual products to Rose Haven, you may bring them to the this November's or December's meetings.

Meeting Volunteers

Thank you to the generous volunteers that help us set up, greet visitors, bring snacks, and put away chairs and tables. You make it possible for meetings to go swiftly!

Kim Winter, our lovely volunteer coordinator, is always looking for volunteers.

Pre-meeting set up and post-meeting clean up are areas we need help in. If you're around after a meeting and able-bodied, feel free to jump in and help put away chairs if you can. No need to confirm ahead of time for clean up. Thank you.

Please email Kim at if you're interested.
