You are invited to our 2nd Rising Stars Dance Recital on Saturday, February 25th from 2pm to 3pm! The recital will take place in the auditorium at 300 Meadow Lakes, East Windsor, NJ. Come and see what our local youth have been putting their hard work into while learning the art of dance! We are so excited to be able to offer this program through our uRise Powered by PenFed platform, in partnership with local instructors who have dedicated so much of their own time to giving these children the opportunity to express their passion! Screen NJ Cancer 101 Workshop Coming February 11th!

Join the Rutgers Cancer Institute and RISE to learn how cancer effects our community, preventing cancer through nutrition, and other ways to reduce your risk! Offered in both English (starting at 2pm) and Spanish (starting 12:30pm), this workshop is open for registration with free giveaways on a first come, first served basis for attendees! Celebrate "Soup-er" Bowl Sunday with Rise!

The Super Bowl may only come around once a year, but our Rise Pantry serves our community all year round, and we need your help to keep our shelves stocked for our neighbors in need! This Sunday, February 12th (Super Bowl Sunday!), if you bring a can of soup into the Rise Thrift Store as a donation to our Rise Pantry, you will receive 25% OFF your entire purchase! So open up your cupboards or throw an extra can in your shopping cart and bring it down to Rise Thrift on February 12th! Thank you for helping us to help others!

January Community Impact by the Numbers

Every day, our mission is to help our neighbors in whatever way we can. In January, we had 1,648 visits to the food pantry by 524 local families. We distributed 16,480 bags of food to local families, and handed out 117 bags of pet food. 365 bags of personal care supplies were given to those in need. 261 of our Rise volunteers donated 1,738 hours of their time. Our efforts are made possible by donations that we receive and by our amazing volunteers. We want you to know that you are making a huge difference in the lives of people around you who may be struggling, and lifting up your entire community.
