Catering
In case you missed it earlier, catering is being provided by the venue, Belmont Sports and Recreation Club. To get discounted meals for the entire convention, orders must be placed by Monday the 17th - 2 days away!
Breakfast will be served from 8am - 10am
The canteen for lunch and snacks will be open from 11am - 4pm
Dinner will be served from 6pm - 8pm
Belmont Sports and Recreation Club is a licensed venue, so alcohol will also be served. Please see the menu on our website here, or for a text-based version click here.
Programming
Barring any last minute changes, our schedule is complete! Please have a look to see the amazing things we have in store for you, but there are a few you should definitely know about:
Registration opens at 4pm on Friday, and 9am on Saturday and Sunday.
If you want to get a feel for the venue before you sign up, we will be doing a venue tour from 3pm on the Friday.
Our opening ceremony will be held on Friday the 21st at 7pm. Come along to welcome in this year’s convention!
The Crafters’ Challenge will be held on Saturday the 22nd from 2pm-6pm. Read the rules here. Signing up beforehand is recommended.

Jam Session for Musical Geeks will be held on Saturday the 22nd from 7pm-9pm. Bring your instruments and jam along!
Our AGM will be held on Sunday the 23rd at 2pm. Volunteer for the next convention, vote for next year’s committee, or have your say in the future of GenghisCon!
Finally, our Dead Dog Dance and Costume Competition will be held on Sunday the 23rd from 7pm. After the rest of the convention is over, dance the night away! Costumes not essential, but prizes will be given.
If you see an empty slot, or if you want to run a specific game during an “open board gaming” slot, please feel free to get in touch with us by Monday at genghisconperth@gmail.com if you have something you’d like to fill it with!
COVID-19
In more serious news, due to recent restrictions, our venue requires all patrons to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a recognised medical exemption and show your vaccination certificate on entry.
We will be checking proof of vaccination at the registration desk and you will not be able to attend GenghisCon without it. All members will also need to sign in using SafeWA or the manual contact register.
The easiest way to check in and show proof of vaccination is the ServiceWA app. Please click this link or visit https://www.wa.gov.au/government/multi-step-guides/servicewa-app-support for assistance in setting it up.
Acceptable forms of proof include the ServiceWA app, Express Plus Medicare app, COVID-19 difital certificate, printed copy of certificate, immunisation history statement, or medical exemption (printed or digital). ID is required except for the ServiceWA app or Express Plus Medicare app.
