Coming up at TCGC

Our two worship services are in the sanctuary. Consistent with new Virginia guidelines, we are no longer requiring masks inside the church. You are welcome to mask or unmask according to your own convictions. We also offer in-door overflow seating in Room 125 during the 11am service for those who prefer more space.

Summer Reading List: Check out this list of books to read during the summer. There are a variety of options for all ages. Let us know what you think!

Parents Night Out: The church will host a series of Parents Night Out events throughout the summer. The first will take place on Saturday, June 19th from 4:30-9pm. Parents may drop off their kids (K-6th Grade) at the church where we will have a variety of crafts and games. Dinner will be provided and we will end the evening with a movie. We are in need of volunteers (both adults and teen) as well as items such as empty egg cartons and paper towel tubes. If you are able to save these, drop them off at the church office by Wednesday, June 16th. Please sign up your child or yourself to volunteer. Email Annie for more information.

Independence Day 2021: We will celebrate Independence Day on Sunday, July 4th from 4-9pm. There will be food, a water slide, pie baking contest, songs, prizes, and more!  Please contact Annie with any questions.

Ministry Needs: We are in need of volunteers to serve as Ushers, in the Children’s Ministry, and on the security team. Please contact the office if you are interested. Thank you!

We recognize summer schedules are more flexible and may include travel, so please know that we'd love to have you as a part of this study even if you cannot come to every meeting!

Check out the application or talk to Jeff and Madeleine Schlenz.

Prayer Focus

Missionaries:

Argaw and Rachel Ayele working with orphans in Hawassa, Ethiopia

Request prayer for:

  • Safety for Argaw and Rachel as they travel over the next 4 weeks.
  • The kids as they stay in Indiana with family.
  • Solutions regarding the land acquisition in Ethiopia. Argaw has already returned to Ethiopia once to work on details. Pray this will not be a distraction during the furlough and need for rest.
  • God to use them in the US to minister to their friends and family who are not currently walking with the Lord, and that they would be a light to them and not appear judgmental but loving towards them.
Ministries:
Youth
Children’s Ministry/AWANA
