February might just be one of the most exciting months of the year to be a craft beer lover here in Boulder County. The weather might be frigid and the Flatirons might be frosty, but this is the perfect backdrop for the ample number of stout and dark beer-related events throughout the month.
This week marks the beginning of February and the start of both Stout Month at all Mountain Sun locations as well as Frozen February at Wild Woods! Both of these month-long events feature a huge number of exciting beer releases (that pack a punch!) sure to warm you up from the inside out. Sanitas Brewing Company is also hosting a Winter Warmer Weekend from Friday through Sunday this week, which will likewise be a celebration of some seriously strong and seriously amazing brews.
If you’re looking to take a craft beer field trip this weekend, head down to Mile High Station for the Denver Winter Brewfest on Friday and Saturday. For a seriously unique celebration of craft beer, music, and the winter season, head to Golden for the UllrGrass Music Festival happening from Friday through Sunday. Be sure to keep an eye out at both of these events for the many Boulder County breweries that will be in attendance repping our favorite craft beers!
