This World Food Day, Seed the Commons will launch a webinar series titled Rethinking Food and Agriculture in a Time of COVID and Climate Change.
The first of the series is A Conversation with Amir Kassam and Laila Kassam on Rethinking Food and Agriculture, this Friday at 10am PST.
Amir Kassam is a Professor in the School of Agriculture at the University of Reading UK and a member of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations, and Laila Kassam is a development economist and a co-founder of Animal Think Tank. Both of them have extensive experience in rural development and are the editors of the groundbreaking new book, Rethinking Food and Agriculture: New Ways Forward, that reviews, reassesses and reimagines the current food and agriculture system.
