Dear friends,
Spring is a time of new growth and new beginnings, and Seed the Commons is bringing it on.
This Friday, we are hosting a webinar on the state of the veganic farming movement in Europe and North America, followed by a first-ever townhall discussion on how to grow the veganic movement. We’re planting the seeds of a radically different food system and pollinating the activist-sphere with a new vision and call to action. Come get inspired and make your voice heard!
The first half of the event will include talks by Axel Anders, who initiated the development of the Biocyclic Vegan label and standard in Europe, and Dr. Mona Seymour, who is researching veganic farming in North America and created the farm map we host on Veganic World. For the Q & A we will also be joined by Dr. agr. Johannes Eisenbach, a farmer and agricultural economist who co-founded the Adolf Hoops Society, the international standard and label organization for biocyclic vegan agriculture, and the chairman of the Biocyclic Vegan Standard Commission.
This is a tremendous opportunity to learn about best practices as well as challenges that farmers and the movement are facing, and to identify priorities and share ideas for organizing at all levels for the widespread transition to veganic farming systems.
This spring, the veganic movement is coming to full bloom. Join us Friday and be part of this historic moment.
