This month Rejuvenate with Christina celebrates being in business for one year! In one year so much has been accomplished. First, I would like to thank each and every one of you. Rejuvenate with Christina could not be what it is today with out my wonderful clients, you all are the best! Rejuvenate with Christina was previously known as Spa Stina and was located inside my apartment. I had been looking for the right business location to move into and expand the business to Rejuvenate with Christina. I create all of my logos, menus, websites, business cards, gift certificates, and pretty much anything you see associated with Rejuvenate with Christina. In the past year I have been able to up grade equipment, implement the monthly newsletter, and offer additional availability for appointments by making Rejuvenate with Christina my sole full time job. I have also added retail items including: Source Vital essential oils, custom essential oil roller balls, Comfy Company sheets and towels, and Himalayan Salt Lights. I am excited to add more to the retail items and to grow as business. I have many healing ideas and exciting plans for the future of Rejuvenate with Christina. I greatly appreciate your business and I look forward to bringing you Rejuvenation and celebrating one year of being open. I am still accepting new clients, all referrals are greatly appreciated.
Bergamot
Bergamot essential oil is derived from the peel or rind of the fruit. Source Vital's bergamot is cold pressed from an almost ripe fruit. Bergamot's botanical name is citrus bergamia. A link directly to Source Vital's bergamot is provided in the links section of the newsletter. It is also available for purchase at your next massage. Bergamot is from the citrus family. It is has a sweet, spicy, orange smell and is commonly used for its aroma. Of course it has many benefits in addition to its pleasant smell. Bergamot was originally cultivated for use in treating the digestive system and to reduce fevers; these are bergamot's most powerful and beneficial properties. Bergamot can help the digestive tract with proper absorption of nutrients and even help to balance blood sugar. It can also help to fight viral infections and is antibacterial as well. Bergamot is very uplifting and can help with anxiety, stress and depression while promoting joy and confidence. It is also calming in that it is a sedative to the central nervous system. Sedating the nerves actually desensitizes them and can help to reduce pain including headaches, sprains, and muscle pain. Bergamot's calming properties also reduce anger and nervous tension. Although, it is from the citrus family and can be an irritant to the skin it is beneficial for acne, cold sores, boils and chicken pox. It can also help to even out skin tone and eliminate scars. Bergamot is phototoxic; which means when applied to the skin you must avoid UV light and exposure to the sun for 12-24 hours. It is also not recommend for children under 6 years. Fun Fact: Bergamot is the flavor in Earl Grey Tea! ***Information provided on essential oils not a substitute for medical advice. It is for educational purposes only. Appointment Booking Tips
Staying on top of scheduling your appointments will ensure a better quality of life as well as help keep you healthy. I recommend whenever possible to schedule your next appointment after your massage to keep the cycle going. Sometimes this is not possible due to varying schedules or whatever the reason may be. If this is this case for you then online booking will be very beneficial. Online you have access to my schedule 24/7!!! You can get your appointment scheduled immediately with out waiting for a response from me and going back and forth on available dates and times. However, if you are looking for an appointment that is with in 12 hours you will not be able to find this online. Occasionally I am able to accommodate last minute bookings. For last minute bookings send me a text or an email to see what is available. Also, make sure you are following Rejuvenate with Christina on Facebook to get updates on days with openings. To ensure you receive your preferred appointment date and time make sure to book at least one week in advance! I hope to see you soon!
