YEAR 5: Trip to Swinley Forest - Thursday 8th September
Boys will be required to wear PE kit along with a tracksuit top and bottoms, depending upon weather, for their trip to Swinley Forest on Thursday 8th September. All boys will be supplied with a packed lunch and water for the day and will not require any spending money.
The aim is to return to Moulsford between 5 and 5.15pm. Should there be any hold up in getting home then we will use the new Year 5 twitter to let parents know, along with a text message sent through the office. Please note that this means bus boys will need to be collected from school.
If your son is not a confident bike rider and would prefer not to take part in the mountain biking then please let me know by email and alternative plans will be made for him to enjoy more time on the other activities.

YEAR 5:  Message for 5O
Please can your son bring in a picture of his highlight from the summer holidays for form time on Monday morning? This can be printed on normal or photograph paper and will form part of a wall display.

WHOLE SCHOOL:  Thames Path Challenge
Dear Parents,
In just over a week I am taking part in a challenge to walk from Oxford to Henley on Thames. This is a non stop, double marathon (72 miles), walk along the banks of the River Thames. It is an organised challenge with the half way point hosted at Moulsford.
The charity that I am supporting for this challenge is Mary's Meals. This is one of the school charities for the year ahead. (  Mary's Meals aims to provide chronically hungry children with one meal every school day, encouraging education that can lift them out of poverty in later life.
If you would like to sponsor me in raising money my fundraising page is:
Thank you for any support that you are able to give me in this daunting challenge.
