YEARS 6 TO 8:  Open Day Duties - Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th September
You may have seen in the calendar that we have our Open Days taking place on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th September.

On Friday the school day will run totally as normal, apart from some boys from Y7 and Y8 being asked to show around prospective parents.

On Saturday however, as in previous years, we would like all boys in Y6-Y8 to come into school to help with the Open Day. The morning runs from 9am-12pm and boys will be asked to either act as tour guides or take part in various activities, in order that the school looks very much in action!

We do have fixtures in the afternoon against Elstree and therefore we will provide lunch to those boys who wish to stay at school before their matches. (We will make a record of who wishes to stay for lunch once team sheets have been put up nearer the time).  Over the next week I will let the boys know in which area I would like them to help.

If your son is unable to come in on the Saturday morning could you please let me know

YEAR 5:  Costumes for Year 5 Play
I am in charge of making the set and sourcing costumes for the Year 5 play, 'The Amazing Maurice'. As such, I am emailing to ask whether you could provide the basic costume needed by your son. I hope that you can appreciate that finding tops and bottoms to fit each individual child is rather a big job, so anything that you could provide would be hugely appreciated.
Click here for a list of characters and the basic costumes that they will need. I will be providing any accessories that the boys need such as hats, waistcoats, tails etc. Please send the costumes to school with your son, in a named carrier bag, which they can leave in the costume cupboard off the theatre- it would also be a good idea to name the clothes. If you have any trouble finding the correct items, please do not hesitate to contact me at and I will see what I can do to help.
Thank you for your help with this.

Please would you email me at to let us know if your son can make it.
