Worship with us Sunday at 11:00 am

- Outside in the courtyard
- Live streamed on Facebook LiveZoom, and YouTube
- Watch any time on YouTube

This week will be our first outdoor live-streamed worship!  Look below to find out all you need to know about worship this week.

For the third Sunday of the Easter season, we will look at how Jesus appeared to his Disciples after the resurrection, and the role that sharing a meal played for them and continues to play for us.

New worship options starting this Sunday!

We are thrilled that as Covid numbers remain lower in our community we are able to safely move to worship outdoors!  Read below for more details about how this will work.

Outdoor Worship

We will gather outside in the courtyard at 11:00 am. Chairs will be provided. This week's weather looks to be on the chilly side, so dress warm or bring a blanket.

For Covid safety everyone will be required to be masked, chairs will be placed distanced, and we will use individual communion cups.  There will be baskets placed throughout the space for you to place your offering of you can give online at www.shelbygiving.com/ridglea. Restrooms will be available in the foyer.

If you have been feeling sick or have been exposed to someone who is or may be Covid positive, we encourage you to worship online from home.

There will be a nursery available in the parlor for kids newborn to 4 years old. The parlor will be ventilated with windows cracked and nursery staff and all kids over the age of 2 will be required to wear masks. (Disposable children's masks will be available if needed.)

There will an outdoor pray-ground area in the courtyard for any age child! Kids can pick up a children's worship bag with crayons, coloring pages, kid's worship activities and more fun surprises! There will also be kids books available and a place for kids to create chalk art!

Livestreamed Worship

Worship will be streamed live online at 11:00 am on Zoom, YouTube, and Facebook. Afterward, the service will be available any time on YouTube or Facebook. As we move again to a new way being in worship together, please give us grace (remember our first few tries of remote worship last March)! New technology always comes with unexpected challenges, but we will figure it out! We are committed to making sure that everyone can worship together as one body of Christ whether we are together in person or online!

Children's Sunday School
Sunday Morning at 10:00 am

In person outdoors & on Zoom

This week we will have our first hybrid Sunday School!  We will meet in person with masks in the Memory Garden and online on zoom! We will be learning about how the disciples came to believe that Jesus was alive even when they couldn't see him close enough to touch.  We will consider how and why we believe in Jesus even when we haven't seen him face to face.  This is for kids Kindergarten -6th grade.  This week older siblings who want to stay (and parents) will be able to help us set up for worship. Stay tuned, as we continue worshiping in person we will add more kids & youth Sunday school classes back!
