~ A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER: Huge thank you to Mandy Trapp & This weeks guests!  ~
What an amazing chat we had with Mandy Trapp last Friday on our Instagram Live.  I'm sure like me, you all walked away with a few juicy informational nuggets to help with your daily mindset practice and alleviating some stress and pressure while dealing with this serious and ever-evolving story.

My three biggest takeaways..

1) Be Grateful; reflect on all the good surrounding you, recognize it, acknowledge it, and embrace it.

2) Consistently take action; use these actions to create momentum. 

3) Learn how to BREATHE; exhale... to often we hold tension in our half full lungs, breathing from only the "top half" of our lungs...  fully exhale to detoxify properly.

Now..  we move onto this week! I'm so very excited to have our dear friends Dee Bateman and Greta Seiben.  They have a wonderful story to tell regarding their personal health and wellness journey - that I think they may tribute Body Architects as the catalyst for ;)

As well they are owners of the wonderful Sweet Pea Cafe & Playhouse, so we look forward to hearing about the strategies they have been applying as small business owners, and how they are adapting to the current situation.

Really looking forward to this!

Words From Our Clients

Just a quick note to say how much I'm enjoying the BA Online app. Together with my weekly sessions with Luc I am progressing quickly toward my fitness goals. The workouts are clearly described and with the videos, the proper moves are easy to understand. I like the variety in my workouts and the monthly updates are increasingly challenging.I prefer to do my workouts at home and Luc has worked with me to develop a program that I can do using weights and other equipment I have.

  Body Architects has many tools to continue to support your health and fitness goals remotely!   

With the current situation regarding COVID-19, Body Architects has closed its doors. But what we are focussing our energy on is other services that we have been offering for a long time - but now more of them, with more options, and a renewed focus!

We offer all of our personal training services from a DISTANCE! We use platforms such as FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp messenger, and good old Skype to facilitate sessions with any of our amazing coaches.

Of course your first session is FREE! We have always done a free consultation and assessment, but we are also offering 20% off all our services and packages. The best part is that these distance training packages are completely transferable to sessions face to face in our facility once we get through these challenging times!

As well as the Distance Personal Training, we have ramped up our coaching via our very own app. Where custom programs are designed for you personally, using any equipment you may have at home. 




For Body Architects, our online app is what takes your success to the next level. Many of our face to face clients supplement their weekly health and fitness programming with a subscription to BA Online, as well we coach many people remotely from all over!   


With BA Online you have support outside of the gym, and the tools to make this new found health, vitality and optimal performance part of your everyday lifestyle.

Recipes for Performance & Longevity 
Quarantine Cookies: Simple 5 Ingredient Chocolate Nut Butter Chickpea Cookies    
What you'll need: 
  • 1 can chickpeas (approx 15 oz) - drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup nut butter - we used almond butter - make sure all natural, no sugars added
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips - we like dark chocolate, stevia sweetened, dairy free if possible
(Sea salt to sprinkle on top optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Place drained and well rinsed chickpeas into a food processor along with nut butter, maple syrup and baking soda.  Blend until a dough forms.  Once blended remove blade and fold in chocolate chips.  Scoop two inch sized scoops onto a parchment lined baking sheet.  Press down slightly and option to now sprinkle with sea salt.  Bake for about 18-20 minutes. Let cool and enjoy. They will be soft, chewy and no one will be able to guess how healthy they are and the secret ingredient :)

  • Super easy!  Less than 5 minutes to mix and get them in the oven
  • Simple ingredients - Ingredients are pantry staples and therefore easy to mix up anytime, especially in our current state of "quarantine" when we are trying to use up what we have
  • Chickpeas! Great way to add extra fibre and protein to our diets along with important vitamins and minerals while feeling like we our treating ourselves
  • Vegan, gluten free, flourless and low in sugar - Low inflammation, low glycemic foods which can keep us feeling full and happy during these unpredictable times
