Your health and well-being is our top priority  

With the growing concern and continuing updates regarding the spread of Corona Virus, we would like to send out a quick note to all our friends and family.

We continue to welcome you all to our facility with confidence as we are taking every precaution possible to keep us all safe and minimize the risk of infection. Wiping down and disinfecting surfaces in the gym immediately after each use, and having hand sanitizer available at the front desk are just a couple of extra steps we are taking. 

We ask that you also do your part to prevent the spread of potential infection by washing your hands immediately upon entering and leaving the gym, using the hand sanitizer, and by staying at home if you are experiencing any symptoms. 

On the home front, keep in mind some of the lifestyle and immune boosting strategies we have suggested over the years! 

- Regular exercise can be a terrific way to decrease cortisol levels, stimulate the lymphatic system to expel toxins from the body, and boost the release of beneficial hormones and cytokines to help fight infection! Remember that does not have to be a high-charging workout in order to elicit these benefits. Consider decreasing intensity and increasing movements involving mobility and breath control!

- Quality foods will go a long way to aid your bodies fight against harmful pathogens. Consider adding things like bone broth, turmeric, cocoa, cinnamon, Vit. C, and Vit. D into your diet. Also, take extra caution to wash your fruits and vegetables during this time of potentially contagious hands touching your food.

- SLEEP can be our best defense against illness. Take some steps to improve your sleep quality over the next couple of weeks.
- Meditation practice is an excellent choice to help down-regulate your system and help the body ward off infection.

- Diffuse Thieves essential oil in your diffuser at home/work. This is something we have in the air at the gym as well!

- You can also add things like echinecia, oregano oil, thieves oil, ginger, and lemon into your water on a daily basis to give your immune system that extra boost!
