~ A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER: Quick follow up to last weeks chat with Jelena Mrdjenovich ~
 Jelena Mrdjenovich was an absolute pleasure to chat with, and her insight and stories were right on point.  We were blessed to have her on last weeks Ryan Goes Live.  She clearly has a strong connection to our community and gives back in real, impactful ways.  She has been giving back with free Instagram Live sweats from her gym Champs Boxing on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 10:30am. I personally can't wait to jump on and check them out. Seriously.. how often have you had a chance to get your *ss kicked by a reigning World Champion Boxer!
One big take away from our discussion that resonated with me was the notion that in times like these where you are facing challenges, sometimes reflecting back on successes you have experienced in the past can help you gain perspective. You know what works for you, so get back to that space that built success in your life.

Words From Our Clients

I came to Body Architects after developing osteoarthritis in my neck, leading to numbness in my arm. Ryan and his team put together a program specific to my needs and now I am in the best shape of my life! I initially wanted to stay just until I was healthy, but their knowledge and the sense of community has kept me around ever since! Training there is one of the things I look forward to most each week.

~ NEWS & EVENTS: THE SCOREBOARD - BA Hunger Games Challenge WEEK ONE  ~








What a super close first week! Congratulations to all Tributes!   

With more then 140 Participants and counting.. It's not too late to jump on a District!  

Don't fret if you haven't signed up yet, now the recruiting for Districts has begun!  Below is the original registration instructions, have a read, and jump on board! 

You will be divided into districts upon sign up and will work together with your fellow tributes to win the games!

On the Sunday night of every week we will be releasing the upcoming weeks challenge.  Work your hardest and complete each challenge to the best of your ability to earn points for your team. 

We as the game makers and the Capitol will be dropping handicaps and changes to the challenges as we see fit so beware and you’ve been warned! 

We will be using our very own Body Architects App to track your progress, if by the end of each week you have not posted your scores they will not count towards your district total.  You are more than welcome to post multiple scores per week to help better your districts overall score.

David Hamblin has impacted our little community at Body Architects in such a positive and impactful way, always smiling, eager to see everyone, and ready to put in the work. And put in the work he does! David competes with himself at every turn, whether clanging and banging the iron or climbing the scoreboard in BA fitness challenges. He has transformed not only his physique, but his overall physical performance. 
When David walked in the gym and sat with Coach Ryan, he had a laundry list of aches, pains, and ailments. He couldn't run at all due to chronic foot pain, and his movement quality was suffering in a big way due to what had been diagnosed as osteoarthritis in his neck, creating incredible discomfort and a chronically numb arm.
Fast forward to just the other day and Coach Ryan answers a FaceTime from David... who is just a few hundred meters from completing a half marathon distance run! When asked why.. David simply answered - just wanted to see if I could.. 

By staying committed to the process, putting his trust in his coach, and staying motivated by being part of Body Architects incredible community, David has completely rebuilt how his body moves and performs. We couldn't be more proud, and we thank you David! 
Recipes for Performance & Longevity 
Cauli-Power Alfredo      
What you’ll need:  
  • 4 heaping cups (460 g) cauliflower florets (1 small/medium cauliflower)
  • 1/2 tablespoon (7.5 mL) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 heaping tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) unsweetened and unflavoured almond milk*
  • 1/4 cup (20 g) nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) fresh lemon juice, plus more for serving
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, to taste
  • 3/4 teaspoon fine grain sea salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • 1 package (350 g/12 ounces) fettuccine or rotini pasta  organic, gluten free 
  • Fresh minced parsley, for garnish optional 


Check out Oh She Glows as they get the credit for this one!  We chose this recipe this week as we’ve been indulging in “comfort” foods/meals lately and this one does not disappoint.  The good news is the “alfredo sauce” is made with no dairy and full of nutrients which leaves you feeling satisfied yet light and energetic.  

Our spin on it was we added some steamed peas, leeks and mushrooms into the final product for an extra dose of veggies.  We used chickpea pasta for extra protein as well!

  • Packed with veggies, great way to get your daily intake without realizing it.
  • Cauliflower superpowers: high in fibre, helps reduce inflammation, full of antioxidants.
  • Versatile, it makes a lot of sauce so you can switch up what you add it to and what veggies you use
  • From one of our favourite recipe blogs “Oh She Glows” - a staple in our house
