Full steam ahead!

❤️ First things first: the prize pool for this year's DSCL Nationals still needs some love. If you want to support the Dutch StarCraft scene, see below for ways in which you can help. ❤️

Five qualifiers for the DSCL Nationals have already been played, and the ranking is shaping up nicely. Check it out to get an idea of which Dutch players to look out for at the finals on December 1st. Anyone can still qualify though, since there are still four more qualifiers coming up. Two of those are this week: We also have the yearly BarCraft for BlizzCon coming up - that'll be on November 3rd in the Esports Game Arena. All fans of StarCraft in the Netherlands are cordially invited to come over and have fun watching the world championships together. Entrance is free and it's going to be a blast!

Hope to see you there,

- VanCaspel
For this year's prize pool I have to rely on community support, and so far several generous fans have already donated more than €260! Of that ~€167 came through the Matcherino campaign page, and another €95 was sent directly via bank transfer.

We're not there yet though. I want the prize pool to reflect the seriously high level of Dutch StarCraft. The caliber of Dutch players is something many other countries can only dream of, and to support their hard work I'm hoping to increase the prize pool to at least €1000.

Will you help make that happen? Then spread the word to your friends and the community at large via Facebook, Twitter, TeamLiquid.net, Reddit, etc. Feel free to get creative and use whatever meme-formats you like 😀.

Of course if you yourself want to donate you can do so via Matcherino or directly via bank transfer: NL03 SNSB 0705 8249 69 of the Stichting E-sports Nederland (BIC: SNSBNL2A). Mention ‘DSCL prize pool’ in the description, and it will be added to the prize pool.
Yesterday only a small group of clever players showed up for the qualifier at the Esports Game Arena - easy points for them! Of course Prospect, Marsman and Riquiz did have to beat VanCaspel, who gladly stepped in to get 0-9'd. That was a LOT of fun - I should play more StarCraft!
