Dear All,

Next Saturday (2nd October) we had been planning to clear some of the pond opposite the Village Hall, but with the unseasonably warm weather the newts may still be enjoying it. I have been advised that we should wait until November.

Nevertheless we can still clear the pond surrounds - all except the lovely Michaelmas daisies. Everything else needs cutting down and taking to the compost heap. If the hayrick is still there it will need to be moved too.

If you can come, please bring shears, forks, wheelbarrows, etc. We do have some LEAP tools you can borrow if wanted.

We can meet up in the car park at 10am, and work until around 12. It is unlikely we will finish in the morning, so if you want please come again after lunch. Unfortunately because of the ongoing pandemic we cannot provide the usual refreshments.

All the best,
Eddie

ps take a look at our website to see what we were up to earlier this month!
