Transitions Physiotherapy News

Your Transition to Less Pain and More Mobility

April 22, 2016

What’s New:
  • Gabe Newman is back! She will be working on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and is now booking clients for the week of May 2, 2016.
  • Now we are fully staffed, we are once again part of the WorkSafeBC Provider Network and are ready to help you with your workplace injuries.
Did You Know:
  • Our physiotherapists are qualified to provide you with a comprehensive full body assessment to help prevent injury and allow you to get moving so you can get the most out of activities you love, or new ones you would like to explore.
  • Both Kate Portman and Gabe Newman are certified through Acupuncture Canada to provide anatomical acupuncture services to clients. Acupuncture can be very effective in treating a variety of painful disorders such as disc injuries in the neck and back, nerve injuries, osteoarthritis and frozen shoulder. It encourages natural healing, reduces or relieves pain and improves function.
  • Nellie Dow is qualified to provide functional dry needling (IMS) services to clients. Dry needling is useful for restoring normal length and function of tight or painful muscles.
  • To ensure timely treatment for optimal recovery, we guarantee to get you in for a new injury assessment within one week of contact.
  • We direct bill Pacific Blue Cross, Blue Cross and many other benefit providers, so you don’t need to pay up front for your appointments. Give us a call to see if we are able to direct bill for you.
  • If you need an appointment outside of your work hours, we are open from 8:30am - 8:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and we have lunch hour appointment slots.
