February 2017

Together we can clothe every baby and ensure a safe pregnancy for every mother.
Happy Valentine's Day, The MicroClinic Way

This Valentine's day, remember a young mother in Kenya who could use a little love and support. Make a donation today and your contribution will support our efforts to offer mothers in Kenya safe healthcare, emergency transportation to clinics, life-saving health education, and baby clothes for their newborns. A few dollars today could make all the difference in the life of a mother and newborn in Kenya. Thank you for your continued generosity and support!
With your help, we've already been able to bring our maternal health card game, Learning Pamoja, to hundreds of mothers in Kenya. We're on track to introduce the game to thousands more this year.
2020 MicroClinic wins ViiV HealthCare award
We are thrilled and honored to announce 2020 MicroClinic has been named a winner of ViiV Healthcare's Positive Action Challenges for its work on maternal health in Kenya. We are so grateful for the opportunity to expand our programs and support ViiV's innovative approach to healthcare solutions.

“In a society where fifteen-year old girls are already mothers of two, there was need for innovative thinking so young women can be empowered to take charge of their own lives and in turn impact the community. The PAC prize is a transformational opportunity to scale a new model for knowledge transfer between the health system and the mothers seeking maternal and child health services.”

Marlborough School for Girls and West Hollywood Elementary donate thousands of T-shirts
Thank you to all the students and faculty of these two Los Angeles schools who supported this huge effort to collect t-shirts for Operation Karibu. We are so proud and honored to have had the opportunity to know the incredible students of both these schools. The t-shirts collected will clothe thousands of babies and provide safe healthcare to mothers for years to come. Thank you!
After a presentation about maternal health in Kenya, the 8th grade students of Marlborough packed up 2,000 donated t-shirts for shipment to Kenya. We're so grateful to have such kind, intelligent young women supporting 2020 MicroClinic!
The students of West Hollywood Elementary who collected thousands of t-shirts for Operation Karibu are now preparing for a cultural exchange with an elementary school in Kenya!
