Prayer of the Day
Lord God, our strength, the struggle between good and evil rages within and around us, and the devil and all the forces that defy you tempt us with empty promises. Keep us steadfast in your word, and when we fall, raise us again and restore us through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Pastor Emily's Ordination:
 Pastor Emily's ordination will be held on March 21 at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. (She has special dispensation from Bishop Gonia to begin her position with us before ordination.) Anyone who would like to travel to St. Paul to attend her ordination is most welcome.

Wednesday Lenten Soup Suppers:
Regular soup and bread are still needed for next Wednesday's (March 4th) soup supper! Please check the sign up sheet on the bulletin board in the hallway. Needed are regular and vegetarian soups and bread on Wednesday, March 11, 18, 25, and April 1st. 

Choir Practice News:
Choir practice is on Wednesday evenings during Lent, immediately following the service around 7 p.m.

During Christmas there was a green/red/blue/tan runner on the Fellowship table. If anyone has this, please return it to church. It was on loan and needs to be returned to the owner. Just leave it in the church kitchen on the counter by the microwave (pictured below).
