Free Library Now Open!
We upcycled the old blessing box, and transformed it into a functional free library. We are now registered, so you can begin putting books in for the community.
Financial Secretary Position Open!!
We are in need of a new Financial Secretary. This is a volunteer position that works with ChurchTrac software and works closely with the financial team and treasurer. If you want more details, contact Pastor Emily.

Bring your chair, canopy(if you have one) or umbrella, sunblock, water, mask, and elements for communion (bread/cracker & wine or other liquid). You are welcome to bring your own hymnal, but we will provide a cart of hymnals that will be sanitized between services.
It is also Day of Pentecost so be sure and wear RED! This will be an exciting day for PoP! Be watching for delivery of your next Home Altar Kit, sometime around May 16th. We look forward to welcoming you back, outdoors, to PoP. ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congrats to Kimberly Lott!
Congratulations to Kimberly Lott on being awarded the Teaching Excellence Award at Utah State University. This is an incredible achievement, and we couldn't be more proud.
New and Improved Blessing Box
We have installed a new Blessing Box in the front of the church (in the same place as the old one). It is seeing a lot of use these days. We would like to keep it replenished for any who need assistance. Keep in mind that it is not a working refrigerator so if you'd like to help, nonperishable foods and supplies are still best!
UPCOMING EVENTS
Highway Clean-up
Due to lack of volunteers, we have decided to cancel the Highway Clean-up. Thanks to all who expressed their desire to help.
Continuing Small Group!
Join us for Small Group Worship this Wednesday, May 19th at 7:00 p.m. A zoom link will be sent out in this week's updates email.
Giving During COVID-19
We are truly thankful for your continued support of Prince of Peace during this challenging time. Here are a few ways to make a contribution while social distancing:

1) Write a check and mail it to the church.
2) Use your bank’s bill pay option and they will mail a check to the church.
3) At this time, the only way to do a direct deposit to the church account is to sign up for
Simply Giving through the company Vanco. Prince of Peace has been working with this
company for quite awhile with no problems. They do charge a percentage fee to the church for this service. There is a form you need to fill out; and the Financial Secretary can set it up. The form asks for name, address, Amount and frequency of contribution and your bank account info.(I will try and attach a pdf of the form for viewing. To protect your personal information, please do not email the form to me or the church).
4) FYI: For the safety of the counters:
A) If you are mailing a contribution, please only use water or tape for sealing the
envelope or use a self‐sealing envelope.
B) For right now, please no cash.

5) If you need to talk to me my phone numbers are in the directory.

Please Stay Safe!
In the Peace of Christ,

Gini Anderson
Financial Secretary
