Stewardship for All Seasons
Thanks to your generosity Ministry Initiative #1 - Enhancing Our Image - is complete! Now, everyone will know our name and where we're located. A huge THANK YOU goes out to Matt Outsen for supplying the scaffolding, setting it up and taking it down; and to Jon Grussendorf, Dave Wilson & Jim Towle for affixing the lettering to the building. Without the congregation's commitment to our Ministry Initiatives this would not have been possible.

We are still working on Initiative #2 - Caring for the Earth - and figuring out what needs to be done next to get the ball rolling. As for Initiative #3 - Supporting the Community - we are ready to present the Logan Pride Center with a check for $1000 (out of our $3000 commitment), but have been unable to find someone in charge to return our message. As soon as we connect we will be able to present them with a check.

Your Stewardship Team is busy drafting ideas for three Ministry Initiatives for this year's campaign. If you have any ideas you would like Council and us to consider, please contact Joan Mahoney at ASAP. We welcome congregational input!

Stay tuned ...
Your SAS Team

We are looking for lectors for our Sunday Morning Liturgies. This can be done in one of two ways:

1) you can record a video of yourself reading the text and send it to Pastor Emily via email, or
2) (if you feel comfortable) you can join the current recording team at church on Thursday afternoons, where social distancing is observed, to be recorded reading from the pulpit.

If you would like to volunteer, please contact Pastor Emily ( to be added to the schedule!
We Need Your Help Cleaning!
We will be welcoming NA back into our building so they can conduct their meetings safely. To protect both communities we are putting a cleaning protocol in place and we are looking for volunteers who would be willing to help clean the church once a week. Please reach out to a council member or Pastor Emily if you are willing to help us ensure that this vital recovery ministry can meet safely in our building.
LCM Together While Apart
LCM recently gathered for dinner and conversation, safely distanced outdoors.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining, feel free to reach out to Sarah Bogen:
Blessing During Quarantine
The blessing box out in front of the church is seeing a lot of use these days. We would like to keep it replenished for any who need assistance. If you would like to help, nonperishable foods and supplies are always appreciated!

Another way to bless the community is to help out at the Cache Community Food Pantry, if you are able. They have always offered touch-free drop off 24/7 at the back of their building (359 South Main Street in Logan). Financial donations are also welcomed on their website.

If you are looking to donate, a list of distribution centers and instructions for those affected by COVID-19 are attached. A list of accepted items for donation is also attached.

Giving During COVID-19
We are truly thankful for your continued support of Prince of Peace during this challenging time. Here are a few ways to make a contribution while social distancing:

1) Write a check and mail it to the church.
2) Use your bank’s bill pay option and they will mail a check to the church.
3) At this time, the only way to do a direct deposit to the church account is to sign up for
Simply Giving through the company Vanco. Prince of Peace has been working with this
company for quite awhile with no problems. They do charge a percentage fee to the church for this service. There is a form you need to fill out; and the Financial Secretary can set it up. The form asks for name, address, Amount and frequency of contribution and your bank account info.(I will try and attach a pdf of the form for viewing. To protect your personal information, please do not email the form to me or the church).
4) FYI: For the safety of the counters:
A) If you are mailing a contribution, please only use water or tape for sealing the
envelope or use a self‐sealing envelope.
B) For right now, please no cash.

5) If you need to talk to me my phone numbers are in the directory.

Please Stay Safe!
In the Peace of Christ,

Gini Anderson
Financial Secretary
