Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Please join us for our  Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Tuesday, December 24th at 7 p.m. We will be using the Holden Evening Prayer and our Orchestra will be performing. Fellowship time, with desserts and coffee, will follow the service.

We hope you will join us for this joyous occasion - family, friends, and visitors are welcome!
"GIFTED to Share God's Grace in the World 2020" is off to a great start because of YOU!!! In the past two weeks you made known your intention for giving in the coming year. We have over 60% participation, including generous donations, and are now over $8,000 which is more than 2/3 of our goal of $12,000!!! This is awesome!!

We have not heard from everyone, so, if you haven't sent in your Statement of Intent, it's not too late - you can bring it to church Sunday or mail it to the church office. The SAS Team will be making follow up calls this week to those from whom we've not heard.

We appreciate everyone's generous support in helping PoP fulfill our three  Ministry Initiatives - Enhancing Our Image, Caring for the Earth, and Supporting the Community. Thank you for being a vital part of the ministry at Prince of Peace.

Call Committee Progress:
Wonderful news, everyone! The Call Committee has made a recommendation to the Church Council that we pursue pastoral candidate Emily Kuenker, and the council unanimously agrees. The council has been consulting with the Rocky Mountain Synod regarding our next steps, and we are preparing for the final steps of the pastoral call, including inviting Pastor Emily to visit Prince of Peace early in the New Year so that everyone can meet her before the church vote. Please stay tuned for specific dates and additional details!

Adult Education Sunday Hour
Because people come and go and are not there every Sunday, we will study the weekly lectionary texts in more depth as a way to supplement our faith formation.  We will discuss the following texts:

Isaiah 7:10-16
Psalm 80:1-7, 17-19 (7)
Romans 1:1-7
Matthew 1:18-25
Check out the official PoP website! Changes are being made daily, and feedback is welcome! Feel free to send me any suggestions:

Please contact Jon Grussendorf if you are interested in playing guitar for "Silent Night" on Christmas Eve! You can meet with him after the service on 12/22. Thank You!!
