Volunteer at Frederick County Canal Community Days Event

October 22 • 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. • County Locations Vary

An opportunity to give back in our community, volunteers are needed in four project locations to focus on trash pick-up and removal, vegetation removal, and possible paint touch-ups/beautification. Hosted by the C&O Canal Trust.

We're all about treats this Halloween at FCC. Join us to enjoy a free lunch, participate in our costume contest, join us for pumpkin painting, and more!

Free Lunches - Visit us in full costume in the Office of Student Leadership & Engagement and we'll treat you to a free lunch! (Available while supplies last.) 

Halloween Costume Contest - Become a contestant in our annual costume contest. Judging begins at 12:30 p.m. in the Student Center with prizes awarded to the top three student costumes and top staff group costume.

Pumpkin Painting - Showcase your artistic talents at our free Paint-a-Pumpkin station in the Student Center Lobby. (Available while supplies last.)

An ancient practice focusing on spiritual centering and contemplation, a labyrinth walk can provide stress management and healing. All are welcome to join us. Professors Lora Diaz and Cynthia Baush will be on site to provide additional information.

Parking Deck Closure • Now through December 1

The Parking Deck is currently closed to allow for scheduled maintenance and repair work. Parking lots on campus will remain open during this time. Please note, the parking deck re-opening date is an estimate and may need to be extended in the event of inclement weather. Thank you for your patience while this necessary work is completed.
