Our Christmas gifts to you

All this month the Nystagmus Network is reminding you of the small gifts we have to offer to help make life with nystagmus just that little bit easier with our Nystagmus is ... advent calendar.

See our blog, Facebook and Twitter posts each day to see what support we can offer you at Christmas and throughout the year.

We try to bring you as many real life nystagmus stories as we can. Today's gift is Mélissa's story of acquired nystagmus.

Mélissa's story - my beautiful, wobbly world

Mélissa was a healthy young woman, living and working in Canada until suddenly she acquired nystagmus and everything changed. Melissa is now adjusting to her new life with nystagmus and wanted to share her story of hope for the future.

  • A Christmas message from our Chairman, Richard Wilson OBE

Our Chairman's Christmas message

As 2018 comes to a close, so a new chapter for this wonderful charity starts. At our Open Day in Birmingham at the end of September, Members voted to modernise the status of the Nystagmus Network so that on 1 January 2019 we will formally become a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. That is an important step in terms of our governance and legal standing, and it changes the official number of the charity to 1180450, but that is all that will change.

Our commitment to raising awareness, providing support and funding research will be as strong as ever.

In the meantime, on behalf of the trustees and employees let me wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Richard Wilson OBE
Chairman, Nystagmus Network
