Royal National College Open Day
We highlighted The Royal National College for the Blind who are holding their Open Day on Saturday 22 May for prospective students and parents / carers of young people with VI.

City Nature Challenge
We featured the City Nature Challenge 2021 in London and elsewhere in the UK between 30 April-3 May which seeks to identify the wildlife on our doorsteps. The activity is being coordinated by the Natural History Museum and the information collected will create a valuable snapshot of biodiversity

Meet Tim
Tim Pearce, the author of Secret Agent Striker  will be joining us in our next children's online writing workshop on Monday 10 May. Tim describes himself as the "favorite author you've never heard of". We invited our followers to change that and join us at our second session in the series of three.

Always here for you
We reminded the nystagmus community that we are always here to offer support and advice every day of the year regardless of Bank Holidays and we invited our followers to visit our website for information.

Virtual Support Networks.
Our virtual support groups for parents or adults living with acquired or congenital nystagmus get together once a month on Zoom. The meetings are popular and we invited all of the nystagmus community to join us.

Welly Walk for Raindrops
Everyone was reminded of the invitation to take part in a 5k sponsored Welly Walk wearing their wellies, on 19 or 20 June in support of Raindrops and Nystagmus Awareness Day 2021.

Courses for Parents and Carers by IPSEA
We drew attention to the online courses available from IPSEA for parents and carers of children with special educational needs. Subjects on offer include the right to choose a school, requesting an assessment, EHC plan masterclasses and preparing for appeals.

We published our regular monthly edition of our digital newsletter, Focus, entitled 'Here comes summer' with news of the Nystagmus Network Captain Tom 100 challenge, Raindrops and the Welly Walk.

Ultra Challenges 2021
We let everyone know that we have opportunities available to take part in fundraising ultra challenges at locations around the UK.
