The next General Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. There are many opportunities to vote safely and securely. Vote Centers mean many more options for voters. Elections are no longer a one-day event. Take advantage of the alternatives available to avoid congestion – from voting at home, drive-thru ballot drop-off, in-person options, returning your ballot via the United States Postal Service, or personally delivering your ballot.

The local election will be for two (2) Council Member District Seats, Districts 2 and 4, each for a term of four (4) years. You can search for your Council District by address with our Interactive District Map.

The City Clerk serves as the City’s Elections Official and is responsible for all local candidate filings, the issuance and acceptance of nomination papers, City measures, and publication of all legal notices as well as campaign and conflict of interest filings required by the Fair Political Practices Commission. Please visit the links below for secure Voting and Drop Off Locations:
For information pertaining to any County or Statewide election, please visit the Orange County Registrar of Voters (ocvote.com) or California Secretary of State (sos.ca.gov).
