Hello Stanton community! I hope this message finds you well and thriving in the New Year.

As we reflect on 2020, I would like to thank the many organizations that supported our residents throughout the year. The Stanton Home Depot provided various PPE and cleaning supplies, art kits and tree stands for our Holiday Tree give-away program. The tree program was also supported by a generous tree donation from the Holiday Tree Farm, Orco Block, Frontier Real Estate Investments and KTGY Architecture + Planning. The holidays were made a little brighter by a fantastic Santa’s Siren event, coordinated by our long term partner, the Youth Assistance Foundation. And lastly, our weekly Food Distribution has served hundreds of seniors each week with the ongoing support from Second Harvest Food Bank, OC Meals on Wheels, Senator Ling Ling Chang’s office, the Stanton Community Foundation, Art 4 Healing, Stanton Mayor David Shawver and our dedicated CEAC volunteer group. We look forward to growing our network and fostering these partnerships in 2021.

-Jarad Hildenbrand, City Manager

21 Years of
Santa’s Siren
Last month, the City partnered with the Youth Assistance Foundation to host our annual Santa’s Siren Express. Volunteers did a phenomenal job turning this into a drive-thru event and creating a special holiday experience for our community.

Throughout the day, over 1,500 toys were distributed to Stanton families, who also enjoyed treats from the Helpful Honda Truck and a socially distanced meet-and-greet with Santa! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event a success.
Orange County Vaccine Distribution
COVID-19 vaccines are now available to eligible individuals in Orange County, with the first Super Point of Distribution site opening this week at Disneyland in Anaheim.
To receive a vaccine at a Super POD site, individuals must be eligible within Phase 1A, be a part of first responders in high-risk communities or be 65 years or older. They also must live or work within Orange County and are required to make an appointment.
