Dear Friends,
„The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.” Luke 4, 18-19

At the end of September a team from The Landing Place Church from Denver, CO came to help us to spread the good news of Christ in Hungary.
Pastor Mark Hardacre who is an eye care physician too gave an eye lecture about the latest treatments for eye conditions and the most current research developments. At the end of his presentation, we shared the Gospel as well.
In one of the events in Pécs a blind lady, Ildikó came to me and asked me: “Can you please help me to accept Jesus in my heart.” It was such a wonderful privilege to lead this lady to Jesus Christ. I gave her an audiobible and now we are helping her with the follow-up.
About this mission trip, we made a 3-minute video. On the link below you could watch it:

Between September 10-12. we have had a Baseball training camp for blind people. We are thankful for the 4 coaches who came from Italy to train us. It is amazing to see how God is using this sport event for building relationships with non-believers and we have a chance to share the good news with them.

On the link below you could see more photos about the camp:
Also on the link below, you could watch a 2-minute promotional video for Hungarians how we are playing blind baseball:

We have been in Kiskőrös for an evangelistic event on October 2-3. On the link below you could watch some pictures as we are distributing audiobibles.
Future plans:
  • October 28.-November 3. a Pastor from Plymouth, Indiana is coming to be with us and to help us to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ
  • November 14. the Bartimeus mission team is invited to speak about missions in one of the biggest Reform Church in Budapest
Prayer requests:
  1. Praise God for Ildiko who accepted in her heart Jesus as her redeemer!
  2. Please pray for Pastor Scott Yoder who will come to help us!
  3. We are thankful for God’s provision. When Covid hit there were many difficulties but one them was that the prices in Hungary went up by more than 40%. Please pray that God will continue to provide for our financial needs!
Thank you very much for your partnership with us!
God bless you!
Tibor and Marta Miklos
