Primary
A message from the primary head

Following discussions in class about children’s rights, and having watched videos about the association “On the Way(s) to School” our primary students thought it would be a good idea to raise money for the children they saw in the videos.

They made handicrafts in class and held two Winter Markets before the holidays in December. As a result of their fundraising efforts. 40,000NT$ was collected - approximately 1,000 euros!

The “On the Way(s) to School” association would like to thank the French Section community for all we have done to support the children who benefit from their assistance. Our donation will go to siblings in Kenya: Jackson and Salomé. Salomé will be able to finish middle school, where she has been getting excellent results. She is currently in the equivalent of 3ème. Her brother, Jackson has just obtained his equivalent of the baccalauréat and the money we have donated will enable him to study law at the University of Nairobi.

Thank you all!

Wishing you excellent holidays and all the best for the Chinese New Year!

Ms Carine Capel
