Primary

A message from the primary head

There are no report cards in French infant classes, so at the French Section we share students’ achievements with parents through Seesaw. This year, we also wanted to prepare a summary of everything the children have learnt so far . Thanks to the support of the TES IT department, that summary will be available via TESmile (‘Academic Results’) this evening after 5pm to parents from PS and MS. Please remember to tick the box in lieu of a signature and don’t forget to congratulate your child on their achievements. GS parents will receive the paper ‘My Achievements’ book as they have at the end of previous terms.

Next Tuesday’s parent-teacher meetings will provide you with an opportunity to discuss your child’s achievements with their class teachers in greater depth.

Ms. Carine Capel

Preparation for Back to School 2019-2020

This year, we ask you to inform us of your choice of Pathway for your child for 2019-2020 by the 3rd April. Please select French-English/ French only/ FAL/ FAL+/ FLC ou EAL) on this form. Feel free to discuss your choice with your child’s class teachers during the parent-teacher meetings next Tuesday. You may also request an appointment by email with the FAL, EAL or FLC teachers to discuss the matter. Please note that parents interested in French only for their child must apply in writing to the primary head and receive her approval before submitting the form.
