Primary
A message from the primary head
If you visited the TIBE (Taipei International Book Exhibition) last week, you might have crossed paths with Axel Scheffler and Peggy Nille - both of them took the time to drop into school to see us last week too!

We have welcomed a lot of authors and artists to our school so far this year:
  • Mr Tatekawa Shinoharu, a Japanese story-writer visited in October

  • Taiwanese writer, Mr Liu Tsu Kung visited twice - once in Chinese and once in English in November

  • Ms Chiara Pastorini, French writer and philosopher, worked with the CM1 class in November

  • In January, Golden tripod Guo Zheng Chen Children’s literature winner, Mr Wang Wen Hua visited

  • Last week, French digital illustrator Peggy Nille led art workshops in GS

  • On  Friday, Axel Scheffler the German artist and illustrator spent the morning in the library entertaining different class groups

  • And on the 1st of April, Matt Phelan the New York Times award winning writer and illustrator will be amongst us.

Thank you to the TES library staff, to our partner Sections in TES, to the Chinese teachers and to the French Office in Taipei for participating in the organisation of these precious and magical moments.

Ms Carine Capel
