We hope you liked our first Newsletter and is eager to discover our second one!

This month was full of important news, especially in France.
In Europe, the allocation of MS for AIR4 active substances renewal was published and a new tool for consumer cumulative risk assessment was launched by EFSA.
In France, Neonicotinoids ban was rejected but some PPPs containing Glyphosate and tallowamines may be withdrawn by the end of March 2016. And several info were released: the order for the "Exemption from application for trial permit", protective measures to protect vulnerable people, national memos on resistance and the UIPP new website against stereotypes.

EUROPE: Allocation of MS for AIR4 active substances


AIR4 active substances are substances whose approval expires after 31 December 2018 and not later than 31 December 2021.

FRANCE: Withdrawal of some PPPs containing Glyphosate and tallowamines (tallow fatty amines) by the end of March 2016?


Following EFSA’s conclusions on Glyphosate renewal and the divergent IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer) report finding a potential carcinogenicity of Glyphosate or plant protection products containing Glyphosate, EFSA had been seised again by the European Commission to review IARC findings.
