Messiah Operetta Is Next Weekend!
It has been a while since we've hosted a live Spring Operetta and we are excited to welcome you to this 40+ year tradition. Here are a few details for this year's show that we want to be sure you know:
Students should report to their classrooms by 6:40 both Friday and Saturday nights.
We depend on all students being present for both nights of our performances.
Our K-4 choirs play a very important role as they sing songs and perform actions to go along with them providing energy and chorus support for the entire show. 5th graders have two separate casts so it will be fun to see each cast perform on their night.
Thanks to the new reserved seating process there is no need to line up ahead of time, just arrive and find your seat. The Sanctuary will not open until about 6:40. Watch for an email next week sent to the email you provided Mr. Stueber on your RSVP.
As Messiah School grows, our ability to host as many guests for the operetta as we would like decreases. In the past, we have enjoyed having PreKindergarten students participate in the operetta, but are unable to do so this year due to seating capacity.
Our two dress rehearsals are open to the public (Thursday. May 5, at 1:30 and Friday, May 6, at 9:30). These are great opportunities to enjoy the show one more time or invite family members to attend who may not be able to join you on Friday or Saturday night.
Friday and Saturday evening shows both begin at 7:00. There is no intermission and the show will last about 40 minutes. Livestream will be provided at MessiahLive.us and on the LIveStream app. Due to copyright limitations, no recording will be made.
