With tariffs on imported European cheeses, those of you dissuaded from purchasing those small artisan cheeses due to their high prices, should take the leap. The playing field may have been evened.
To that point, Rogue River Blue, the first American cheese ever, took the top prize at the World Cheese Awards. Yes, it’s a cheese from Oregon. But, Cheese Trail is happy to tout a well-deserved win.
