As December approaches each year I am torn about sending a newsletter. Torn because I know your inbox is filled with email, just like mine. The days of December fly by and we have less and less time to read what’s in those mailboxes. Historically the urge to send holiday greetings and to express my gratitude for your support of visit NC concierge wins out. It did once again in 2017!
Reflecting on the past twelve months, visit NC concierge has grown and expanded. Through the relationship with the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau, half-day and full-day travel experiences in North Carolina’s capital city have been created to serve the growing number of visitors to Raleigh. Ginny Tyndall has joined our team as the Cape Fear Regional Associate. A Capital Christmas, visit NC concierge’s signature holiday travel experience, brought visitors from Wilmington to Raleigh where they joined others for this third annual fun-filled day of exploration and seasonal entertainment. Scroll down for a 2017 photo recap of our travels to Wilmington, Seagrove, Winston-Salem and Raleigh.
Future trip reconnaissance took us east in 2017, to Roanoke Island and Nags Head, and west to Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. Multi-day trips to both these locations are planned for next year. Look for details in the January 2018 newsletter.
And, in 2018, we are moving to an online registration process making the website a one-stop location for tour information, selection and payment.
It is a joy to explore North Carolina with you. I am grateful for your interest in the newsletter and the stories you’ve shared with me that have been sparked by the feature articles. Your loyal patronage is most appreciated. As the 2018 calendar opens, I continue to look forward to traveling with you across this wonderful state we call home. Send me your ideas for places you’d like to see and learn more about in the Tarheel state. I love hearing from you.
Wishing you and those you hold dear a joyous holiday season.
Happy New Year!
