The Global Auction Tracker
 
April sees a sharp decrease from 558 to 368 auctions globally from the previous month. Assets in the metalworking category continue to form the bulk of sales within the global auction market with 132 auctions which is similar to last month's total of 135 even with the overall drop taken into account. PPM follows in second place with a total of 47.
 
31% Growth in Used Equipment Market During Q1
Buyer interest in used plastics equipment jumped by over 30% in March, building on similar growth in January. Broadcast and lab equipment also saw a large increase in buyer interest last month. Read More

Listings in Czech Republic More than Double
This April we see a huge rise in machines listed in the Czech republic (+155%) and Spain (+40%). There is a slight decrease in France (-9%) and Germany (-21%) but Overall Europe is increasing by 13% over last month. Visit Exapro

British industry optimistic about post-Brexit prospects
With Article 50 now triggered, the United Kingdom is set firmly on a course to leave the European Union, and despite much uncertainty, representatives from many of the largest industrial sectors are excited at the opportunity to reinvigorate British industry. “The asset management sector is strong, innovative and resilient,” said Mark Pugh of PwC, “the triggering of Article 50 gives a degree of long-awaited certainty and a set timeline to work towards.” - Read More
