President’s 2020 New Year Message
Happy New Year Everyone!! 2019 was a fabulous year for IASC and our South County Community as we celebrated IASC’s 25th Anniversary and we are looking forward to a fantastic 2020!!!

The highlight of the year was the celebration of the Annual Diwali Festival. More than 500 people attended the celebration, which featured more than 100 performers who took to the stage throughout the evening.

In the coming year, timely email newsletters will keep you informed about upcoming events, provide ways to get involved and contact information for us and our sponsors. As always visit our Website and Facebook page for the very latest information.

Our first two events this year include our Annual Holi Festival and the Spring Senior Chai Social. As our South County Indian community continues to grow, you're bound to meet new families, so please do let them know about IASC and how to get involved. Share our website so they can sign up to be on the email distribution list.

This year, I'm really motivated to bring a new area of focus to our community. I shared this during my speech at the Diwali celebration back in November, but if you missed it, here's what I said.

"I want to place a few images in your minds, so come with me on this path for just a few moments.

1) What would it look like if the Indian Community was fully participating in and being a larger part of South County as a whole?

2) What would it look like if our community members sought out and participated in civic areas?

3) What would it look like for our community to volunteer in and even create their own humanitarian charities to serve those in need?

I want us as a community to think about and begin the journey towards accomplishing these, but as I said before, we can only do this together”

It's going to be an exciting year and I encourage each of you to get involved, to help us grow and bring joy to our community - become a volunteer; improve youth activities; come up with creative ways to serve; etc. Please share your ideas with us!

IASC is looking for volunteer help in the areas of Website design, Social media marketing, and Choreography. Please email us at if you can lend us a hand and I will get back to you.

We have the best sponsors, have a positive relationship with their owners and want you to experience their great service! Please support them & take another look (Click the pics below), so that we can continue to have great events! Lastly, we are very excited to share that in addition to various publications that have written about us and our Diwali event, we have just appeared in gmhToday too!!
