This month, The Kinetix Group is proud to announce our partnership with New Jersey Urology to operationalize the new Oncology Care Model (OCM) from CMS. The five year model includes more than 3,200 oncologists—covering urban, suburban, and rural areas and ranging in size from solo oncologists to large practices and commercial insurers—and will cover approximately 155,000 Medicare beneficiaries nationwide. As one of the first CMS physician-led specialty care models, the OCM builds on best practices from other innovative programs to enhance care. With programs like OCM, TKG encourages practices to improve care and lower costs through episode and performance-based payments that reward high-quality patient care.
TKG also continues to grow our CMS-funded Practice Transformation Network in partnership with COSEHC and SPH Analytics. To date, our team has enrolled over 2,300 providers, far exceeding the CMS’s first year recruitment goal of 1,900. To supplement this initiative, earlier this year TKG leadership had the opportunity to present on the top drivers of successful practice change at the largest healthcare conference in the US, sponsored by Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Our session explored how the combination of clinical data and process improvement is enabling measurable quality and cost outcomes, discussed the top drivers of successful practice change, and outlined CMS-funded initiatives to support practice transformation.
TKG’s deep, insightful understanding of the evolving payment landscape has enabled us to expand our collaborations to address widening gaps in care delivery and help our pharma clients understand the priorities of their customers. Thank you for supporting The Kinetix Group, and please let us know if our team can assist you in any way.
