From the Director

In January 2019, MBI grew its full-time staff by nine people. By April 2020, we’d added five new services/ministries: Debriefing, LIFT (legal, immigration, financial, tactical-risk), Partner Architects, Strategic Gatherings, and Leadership13 (coaching/consulting for leaders).

Zoom technology allowed us to offer our new services to global YWAM locations without interruption. Because of time zone differences, we were often up late or hitting it early in the morning to come alongside YWAM leaders facing something previous leaders had never encountered: serving during a pandemic.
Due to Covid restrictions, MBI fell short of placing its usual number of volunteers worldwide. But people still went, and some ended up MBI Volunteer Graphicsstaying longer than expected. One of YWAM’s most significant needs is still volunteers, which has only grown since the beginning of the pandemic. We anticipate sending increasing numbers of volunteers in 2021.

Will you consider volunteering by going or serving virtually? We’ve begun connecting virtual volunteers to needs at YWAM locations. Call or email us to talk about options!

So Others May Thrive
MBI provides leadership support, practical resources, and volunteer connections to YWAM locations worldwide. Our goal is to help YWAM locations thrive and be empowered to know God and make him known.
