Two quick reminders for today: 

First: Don't miss the Staff Council Happy Hour TONIGHT, 5-7 pm at Bar Louie (24337 Cedar Road, Lyndhurst, OH 44124). Join colleagues from across campus for casual conversation and appetizers. These events are cash bar. Happy Hours are drop-in events, so please feel free to come and go as you please.

Second: There is ONE MORE DAY to submit Staff Council position nominations. The nomination form will close Friday, March 16 at 5:00pm. Thirteen positions are open and we need great people to fill them! You may nominate any staff colleague, or yourself. For more information on these positions, please visit our website here.

Staff 'Working Lunch' Feedback Session
on the emerging Strategic Plan for Inclusive Excellence (SPIE) 

Monday, March 26, 12:00-1:00 pm, Location TBD
A new draft of the SPIE is available for comment, incorporating community feedback from the January 31 community forum with faculty and staff. This feedback session is an opportunity for staff who might not have been able to attend on January 31 to give their feedback, or to see how their feedback has been incorporated in the newest draft.

Fish Fry Lunch Hour
Tuesday, March 27, 12-1 pm, The Underground
Join your colleagues for a last Fish Fry before the end of Lent!

HR Training Series

The Office of Human Resources has announced a Spring Training Series on a variety of topics pertinent to staff, including hiring students (3/15), data security (3/20), legal and policy matters (4/12 and 4/19), and information about how to report and support those experiencing or accused of sex discrimination under JCU's Mandatory Reporting Policy  (3/21, 4/16 and 5/20)
