May 22nd is the day we celebrate our five years of slinging beers!
A few of you have asked me if this is a ticketed only event and the answer is no. Nobody needs to purchase a package. The benefit of the package is for those that know they will indulge in everything, then the packages cut down on some of those costs. Everything will still be available to everyone. Pint Services will be on site printing up tees priced at $15.00. Crawfish is $11 per pound or $20 for 2 pounds. The 5 year glass will be for sale as well.
5 Year Anniversary
Same msg from last week:
On May 22nd we will be opening up early at 9:30am with what we like to call Breakfast with Big Matt! Before you get all hot and bothered thinking we're flippin' flapjacks, well, just tap the brakes on that crazy notion. It's better than that anyways. Ohhhh so much better because it's good ole' fashioned cereal and not the poopy kind that Mom made us eat when we were little. No sirree, we are talking the good stuff. And we don't skimp on the milk either. We select the finest dairy cows that feed on organic grass before those teets are gently tugged thus happily providing us with the cold, creamy, refreshing milk that we all crave. Now, if you only drink "milk" from nuts, well, that's not us. But, if you bring it, we will accommodate you. It'll be fun and it's Matt so it's really always a great experience. I will probably sweeten the deal with donuts, as well. I bet Matt will be showing his favorite cartoons on the TV's. For some reason, he strikes me as a Spongebob kinda guy.
For the normal day's events this is what we have in store:
Great beer both from what I've cellared over the years and what Matt and I have acquired from our local breweries in the metroplex
crawfish by Chef Couillon (we will also have pre-pay packages mentioned below)
Pint Services printing tee shirts for purchase
Outdoor covered seating
Hippo-Head Hot sauces by Jase Hicks will be onsite with all of his latest and greatest masterpieces
Here is the link for the online ordering of the packages:
Take a look. There are single and double packages featuring food, tee shirts, commemorative glasses as well as the option of just food and beer.
You can also purchase these packages in the taproom, but you need to get these in by the 18th. Chef Couillon will definitely have surplus, but getting the pre-orders is not only a benefit to you, but it also helps us estimate the amounts necessary.
As we get closer, more information will be provided.
