Laparoscopic Suturing & Knotting Techniques
CEMAST conducts International Masterclass

Over the last decade, there has been a steady increase in the acceptance and practice of Minimal Access Surgery with a concurrent decrease in open cavity operations. However, in spite of advancements in surgical techniques and the availability of newer surgical tools, the complexity of laparoscopic suturing and intracorporeal knot tying often poses as a barrier to greater adoption of Minimally Invasive Surgery.

At CEMAST, we specially designed & conducted the International Masterclass in Laparoscopic Suturing and Knotting Techniques with a focus on Gynaecology (Sept 4-5, 2018) to help the participants learn and improve their core competencies in Laparoscopic Suturing in Gynaecology. In this Two-Day Masterclass, eminent International and National Faculty Members mentored the participants not just in various techniques but also emphasised on the clinical applications of Suturing Techniques viz. Laparoscopic Myomectomy, Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Pelvic Prolapse Repair.
