A NOTE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SUE GOTTESMAN:
|

I want to give a big Different Brains thanks to Cypress Bay High School for hosting the ESE POST-SECONDARY TRANSITION EXPO
Different Brains participated along with many other outstanding organizations whose mission is focused on neurodivergent and differently-abled young adults. The services and programs presented covered post-high school opportunities from life skills to physical fitness to social skills and vocational training.
It was a great experience for all of us to collectively join with our message of neurodiversity acceptance!

I also want to let you know that we are accepting applications for neurodivergent interns over the age of 18. At our office and studio in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, interns are exposed to the basics of new media journalism, while being given opportunities to develop social skills in a real professional workplace environment. In fact much of the content of this newsletter has been produced by our interns. If you know of anyone that would like to apply please have them explore the program on our website and send an email to diffbrains@gmail.com for more information.
