This is Pastor!
Many people have been contacting me and thanking me for staying on the front lines. I appreciate all of it. This one came to me this morning, and I receive it. I’m passing it on to you, in Jesus’ name. The Lord will guide us about what to do and how to lead our family members.
  • ISAIAH 55:4
“Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.” Thank you for being there for so many.
Since the beginning of this warfare, I’ve been doing all I can to keep you strong and together. I’ve always claimed—and you’ve heard me say it may times—that Living Word is a family. Many times you’ve also heard me call you a great army. This current situation changes none of that! In fact, this presents an opportunity to us to prove the high caliber we really are.
I am praying over your health and that no one in our church family contracts this virus or anyone anywhere in your family.
I am also praying over your money. All of my preaching career, I have confessed that Jesus is Lord over our money (not mammon), that El Shaddai is more than enough, and that Jehovah Jireh will take care of us. This is why, in all of my communication to you—whether by phone, e-mail, in person, text, or live stream—I am reminding you to look to God in this time of trouble and to use your mouth to speak life and not death. This is why I’m confessing over you and have assigned you to speak Psalm 23 and Psalm 91:10 out loud with your mouth. I have not changed my stance on that! I plan to stand on these sets of verses until this battle is completely over.
And I’m asking you to please set an alarm of some kind and remind each other every, single day at 12 noon to look to Heaven and ask God for mercy and call healing upon our land. Then stop praying and speak into the air to bind the demon behind this and bind this virus and tell it to die.

You live in Michigan, so you know how whacked out our governor is. So make sure you include in your prayers that she will either wake up and take care of us, or somehow she will be replaced by someone who will.
Call Governor Gretchen Whitmore @ 517-335-7858, x3, and say:
  • This is [your name] from [your county].
  • Express how disappointed you are about the way the governor is handling decisions being made across the State of Michigan. There IS a safe way to open this state slowly and safely, keeping Michiganders healthy, while allowing Michigan’s economy to flourish.
  • Explain that you would like the governor to know that she will NOT be voted in again in Michigan!

I don’t normally pass along things like this, but I think it’s important for everyone to realize why our government, including our strong president, is paying extra-careful attention to how lethal this is or could be if spread.

  • January 2020
This will be a year of plenty, saith the Lord. Where your baskets and your bins and your barns have been empty or close to empty, I plan to start a whole new decade of gathering and blessing you, even with material supply. For those whose field has been scorched by the sun, I plan to bring water and water your life. This will be a special year for you. For those who have been wandering in the wilderness and can’t find your way out—you try hard, but you end up back again, saying, “I’m lost, I can’t get out of this”—I will make a way for you personally in the desert places, in the wilderness, and I will guide you through life. Those of you who have fought to break off the shackles and bondage of sin yet keep failing, condemn not yourself, saith the Lord. This is your year. You just keep moving toward liberty and freedom. Be found in My presence, be found at My altar, and watch Me break the bands of wickedness off your life. I have your year planned. We shall start another decade walking together on Planet Earth with victory and success, and I will supply, saith the Lord.

I want to thank you for being so faithful to pray and with your finances. We have been falling behind some in our giving, but we’ve had a couple partners who have really stepped up to help us, so as of today we are in the black. I appreciate those of you who ask me about it. We love you, and we are one awesome church.

I’m including a post that Dawn put on her social media because I believe it is a good, heartfelt plea to all of us to be scriptural in this fight:

Faith Over Fear!
(long post, but a moment from my heart!)
I woke up this morning very early. Wasn’t planned. I mean, there’s nowhere to rush off to! LOL
Read my Bible, talked to the Lord, as I always do!

Then I looked for the controller to turn the news on. Hmmm... has anything earth-shattering happened while I was sleeping? 😟

I couldn’t find it without making tons of noise. So I began to look through social media! 🤨

As a sat and read different feeds, groups, pages, and friend posts. I began to feel as if I hadn’t spoken to Jesus at all!

People shaming people, people judging each other, friends arguing if the virus is real or not. Doom and gloom about how much longer MI will be “shut down.”

I began to feel anger, defensive for friends, anger toward friends, anger toward fake news, and God knows we have plenty of it. I was becoming agitated, angry, and sad. Hopelessness took over my mind.

I literally threw my phone on the bed.

I began to speak to myself. Where does your hope come from. Dawn? Whom do you trust with your “ENTIRE LIFE?” Who is the Author and Finisher of your faith?

Who created Heaven and earth?

Who is my Lord? Is it President Trump? NO! The doctors? NO! The scientists? NO! Task Force Team? NO! Covid-19? NO!!!

Jesus is my Lord! 100%.

I put my trust in Him and in nothing else!

I trust Him with my life, with my family, with my eternity! He is the rock on which I stand—the peace to every storm, answer to every question, healing to every sickness!
The battle is not mine; it’s the Lord’s.

Fear is a liar! And His promises are true!

Love your neighbor. I have people in my life who don’t think the same way I do about this virus (yes, it’s real). But we have differences of opinions about how we should be dealing with it. Is it about our rights, or the safety for those vulnerable? Do we wear a mask if we are sick or all the time? Do gloves really help, or not? And the list goes on.
I share very few political views, but I do believe we live in a country where we can! We have freedom of speech, and we can say what we feel or believe, or simply tell someone off on social media apparently 🤦🏼‍♀️.
I agree with our president one day, and I don’t the next. And that’s my opinion, and you have yours! And that’s okay.
Bottom line is that when this is all over (and it will be), we will not live like this forever. Will you have destroyed friendships and important relationships because you disagreed so much that you hated?
I have a variety of people in my friends list on social media! Some vaccinate; some do not. Some believe this virus is real but overreach by the government; some do not. Some want to protest for change, and some do not. And that list goes on! And that’s okay.
Please be kind! You don’t always know where someone is on the inside, what they are struggling with, or why. Love doesn’t mean believe in the things you don’t want to in order to be friends, or compromise what you believe. It simply means find a way to disagree agreeably and peacefully! Peace is a powerful friend!
I leave you with this!
  • 1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-4 NLT
“If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”
Have your own opinion of the happenings of today... but with LOVE and KINDNESS!
