Family, Prayer and Praise Updates
We have an urgent prayer need for healing and peace ... Anita's Uncle David was diagnosed in June with Acute Myloid Leukemia and is currently hospitalized for treatment.
We have begun a new endeavor - we are taking Guatemalan Sign Language classes! Our minds are being challenged double as the class, naturally, is taught in Spanish! We are excited and hopeful to have yet another tool for sharing the love of Christ! We are so thankful for this opportunity and pray that what we are learning will stick!
The 2 group homes of Hope for Home are in need of more interns. If you or someone that you know may be willing to consider giving a 3-6 month term of service in the daily care of precious special -needs children please contact Anita at the e-mail address below and she will gladly send information your way! Please pray for this need!!
Please pray for Kristin and her work in "La Escuelita" With Melanie's return to the US she is on her own once more. Anita is trying to fill in the gaps when able yet the load is heavy.
Kristin, Kathlyn and Alyssa will all be serving as translators with Health Talents beginning August 5. Kathlyn and Alyssa served in the July clinic. Your prayers for strength and wisdom during these clinics are appreciated.
Please pray for Alyssa and Luis as they prepare for marriage and for all of us as we make the necessary preparations for the wedding.
We ask for prayers for wisdom and guidance as we make plans and arrangements for the details of our time in the US.
As always we are so thankful for your interest, prayers and support for our family as we follow the Lord's leading and serve in San Antonio Aguas Calientes, Guatemala!
By His grace and for His glory,
Dale, Antia, Kristin, Kathlyn and Alyssa
