Well, as Master Thich Nhat Hanh suggests, I have been practicing. Learning, aching, listening, breathing. Grieving. Celebrating. Resisting. Fighting with ancestral ghosts. Nursing sick children. Washing dishes. Holding down the fort. Taking one step at a time.

Social media has mostly felt like too much for me these days, but I want you to know I’m still here. I am going deeper, and learning and practicing, because we need us all to be solid and calm and without fear these days.

I'm taking an intensive course right now, exploring the climate crises and our current human existential crises. My life has felt full and flooded with emotions and inner and outer work. If that all sounds a bit intense, well, it is. But it is good! I appreciate all the feelings. And I look forward to being ready to share more soon and in the coming months.

This is in collaboration with a new non-profit family center here in Santa Cruz County called The Circle, with a mission to serve ALL families and offer equitable support in our community.
