Connect with your clients during the holiday season

Christmas is a great time to reconnect and build relationships with your clients. Customer retention is a critical part of business growth and success, especially when acquiring new customers can cost as much as five times more than retaining your existing ones!

Building relationships is something you should do all year round but there is no time like the present to kick things off. The trick here is to make your Christmas message personal, sending an email or card is great, but personalise it. A personalised approach will capture your clients' attention and your business will really stand out! Snail mail is a great way to go, let’s face it the only mail we get in the post these days is bills, so a handwritten card will certainly be well received!

  • Post your holiday season opening hours.
  • Run a competition – run an advent calendar campaign to win a prize everyday – prizes such as a discount or gift vouchers. 
  • Christmas is the time for giving – so be sure to feature your social purpose as part of your social media story-telling during the festive season.
