NCEAS announces our third installment of our annual seminar series on diversity, equity, inclusion and justice in environmental data science. Our three speakers are Sara Bombaci, Sara Cannon, and Grace Wu, who will be hosted virtually later this Spring. Registration is open to all.

Synthesis Spotlight:
Reproducible Scalable Computing Course

This month, NCEAS hosted a five day, in person workshop for Arctic researchers on advanced topics in computing with python, including dealing with very large datasets. Run by the NCEAS Arctic Data Center, this workshop also teaches synthesis researchers about data sovereignty and CARE principles to handle ethical concerns with data intensive modeling projects.
