We were graced by beautiful flowers, savory food, refreshing sangria and delightful entertainment by grantee partners My Voice Music and the Portland Homeless Family Solutions Lullaby Project.

"I joined ninety-nine girlfriends in its charter year because I believed in the mission, vision and leadership of the organization. As I participated that first year, girlfriends repeatedly demonstrated it is a learning organization. So, my decision to leave in year two was difficult. But, with the changes in national politics I wanted to put my limited philanthropic dollars into organizations like the ACLU. I continued to receive periodic updates as ninety-nine girlfriends moved forward. When year three rolled around, it was an easy decision to redirect my philanthropic dollars to ninety-nine girlfriends. It offers me a clear line of sight between my giving and making a positive impact in my community—and I convinced my initially skeptical partner to join as well!" Donna Neusch
